More Questions and Answers

A: Almost all classes include learning how to make a multitude of authentic Italian coffee drinks. From coffee aficionado to developing a coffee shop business plan, we have the right coffee course for you! And what is really unique about Terzi is that while each course has a its own unique theme, your expert master barista will work with you to customize your coffee course! Please let us know if you are planning to open your coffee shop business, exactly what questions you need answered to open and operate successfully a coffeehouse in your area. 100% Hands-On, Full immersion classes – Hours of Instruction . Many of the other coffee schools do a great deal of “demonstration” classes.
Our coffee classes are “hands-on.” The course is NOT series of demonstrations; you actually prepare every coffee drink l. This is not a lecture situation but rather you work on equipment individually. We don’t believe it makes sense for coffee courses to be demonstrations because “you learn by doing” not watching! We list the hours of instruction –our 1/2 day and full day courses are generally longer than average. We don’t watch the clock and often people are having so much fun, the class goes longer than expected.
Our coffee classes are fun, informative and priced reasonably. Compare coffee courses options carefully! We encourage you to browse other websites and look at the details of their offerings and itineraries, but look closely. Our pricing is in line with, or lower than other companies, and considering what you receive our value is much higher. Every day is coffee oriented. Most full day courses include discussions on coffee bean selection and roasting. We have one simple goal…. we want you to be happy when you are with us! We want you to come back over and over and tell your friends about your great experience.
Select a short course, a half day course, a full day or even a few days . You will enjoy learning from professional instructors in a fun environment; you will have a great “Coffee/foodie” adventure! We hope to provide a True Coffee Cultural Experience You Will NEVER Forget.
The Terzi School offers a unique, friendly, informative venue that is VERY different from other coffee schools. We immerse you in the “Italian coffee culture” by exploring the coffee countries of the world. Mr. Terzi thinks and breathes coffee! He has even written a book about coffee!
It is in the kitchen where stories are handed down from one generation to another. Smells of special coffee drinks that grandma made transport you back in time. It is said that the olfactory sense of smell can trigger memories and enable you to visualize events long passed. We hope you take back the knowledge you acquire in our courses so that you can duplicate the tastes and smells when you return home. Some of our past guests have become friends, email us often and return year after year. It is often reported that back home they rarely eat Italian food out now because what they make at home is better than what they can get at most local restaurants! Again, we are serious when we say, “We don’t want to meet your needs; we want to exceed your expectations!”

Q: Diversity of Courses and How Much Instruction Do You Really Get?
A: We have one of the most diverse course offerings in Italy. From the most novice to expert, you will find our courses to be fun and informative. We have basic courses on pasta making (but did you ever make pasta by hand, with a 36″ long rolling pin, the way they have been doing it for centuries in Emilia Romagna?) to advanced. We specify the time length of each course, frankly its shocking to see many places on the net promoting a full day course for what we list as a half day course! Beginner coffee lovers to professional baristas have praised us for adjusting our courses to meet peoples individual needs. So, don’t worry after you sign up for a course, come to Italy and meet with the instructor he/she will make sure that your instruction is to your level of experience and will make sure you have a fun, pleasurable, learning experience.
